South Elevation

The view of the front of the house as it faces south. I tried to add some effects to the roof. Check. This is the one hanging in the BAC hallway.

Side View

The West side view of the house. I have these drawings on foam board (10" x 15") and hanging in a gallery in the BAC with a portfolio with all the architectural details and original pencil drawings. So if you're over at the BAC, check 'er out.

South Elevation (Final)

Here is the front elevation of the house, which faces south. I wanted to use the black in the negative space and the windows to really emphasize the windows surrounding the upper level of the house. The celing of the upper (second) level goes as high as the roof. So, the second level of the house has a very high celing. With all the windows and the high celing on the upper level, the living area and kitchen is going to feel huge.

Second Floor - Final Plan

And here's the second floor created via the computer.

Wa-lah! Ground Floor Plan

Here is the final floor plan for the Ground Floor of the house. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create it. I plan on printing this and the other final computer generated images on a large-scale printer in the art studio, then puting the images on large foam boards to present to the class.

West Elevation

Pencil drawing for the West (Side) Elevation of the house.

Second Floor

Here is the pencil drawing for the Second Floor of the house. You may notice that the first floor of the house contains the bedrooms and bathrooms, while the second floor holds the kitchen and living area. I like this idea because I think the idea of an elevated living area with windows surrounding is really neat. It appeals to me more than having the living area on the ground floor. All the natural light can be incorporated into the living and eating area.
